Happy Women's Day!
Here's to a year with better working conditions, less and less (and less!) genital mutilation, more equal treatment, less slavery, less envy of our life-creating potential, less fear of our power, more love.
To a day in which every day will be a woman's day, as every day is a mankind day.
Hear, hear, Mari-girl! *raises glass in toast*
ReplyDelete--Marisa: *clinks glass* :D
ReplyDeleteEvoé!
ReplyDeleteWell said! To safety for everyone everywhere.
ReplyDeleteHappy Women's Day to you, too, Mari!
ReplyDeleteNicely put, Mari, happy woman's day!
ReplyDelete--Former-Witch: You had me looking up this one at the dictionary. ;P
ReplyDelete--Jemi: Thanks!
--Cathy and Estrella: To you, dear friends! :)
Yay, Women!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great blog you have...I'm now a follower.
Had no power or heat that day. The lady spent the day under four layers of covers while I set up the propane heater, made coffee and cocoa, drove around looking for help, cooked, and otherwise accidentally observed Women's Day.
ReplyDelete--Clarissa: Thanks! You've made my day with your comment! :D
ReplyDelete--John: I'm so, so sorry that you've been through all that this week! I hope you're all warm and safe now. :)
Even though Women's Day came and went without me even noticing your post reflects my sentiments exactly.

--Jon: I'm sure women all around the world would forgive the skip. You had good reason for it! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you related to these thoughts. My wish is that all men will come to think as you in the future. May it be sooner than later!
