Oh my, the incredible twitter friend Kirsti, whose blog How Did You Get There features hilarious and educating interviews, among other interesting things, gave me the Kreativ Blogger Award! Thanks so much Kristi! :-D
Hey, why don't you go pay her a visit? It's totally worthy!
Now, as per the rules, here are the seven things about me that you might find interesting:
- I'm Italo-Brazilian, but I write in English;
- Fantasy is my main thing. That's why this blog is so bizarre sometimes;
- I currently live in Italy, but you knew that already if you talk with me on twitter;
- I used to be a tax attorney (yuk!);
- I'm a dog person, but I really love all kinds of animals, even bats (whaa?);
- I do like sharing information and making conversation here and on other places. This is not not only about networking, but also about learning, helping others, and making friends;
- I have hazel eyes. ;p
Finally, and very importantly, I nominate another twitter friend whose blog I find very creative and entertaining:
She rocks! Literally, she's all rock'n roll, heh.
Hey Susan, check out the rules:
1- Thank the person who awarded you
2- Copy the logo and paste it on your blog
3- Link to the person who nominated you for the award
4- Name up to 7 things about yourself that people might find interesting
5- Nominate another Kreativ Blogger to pass the award to
6- Post links to the blog you nominate
7- Leave a comment on the blog to let them know they’ve been nominated
Hey, Congrats! This is my first visit but lurking around, I see why Kristi handed it to you. One month, two months, who's counting? It just means you should keep writing and doing what you do - but you already knew that, didn't you? Cheers! - Karen
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! May this be the beginning of a long and prosperous live to this entertaining blog!
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks, hon! But ... rules? Scary stuff, woman. :D
ReplyDeleteHi Karen! You know, you're right. You're so right that I took off all that crap about google analytics, and about how old/new the blog is. I've even changed the post's name. I was so surprised that I think I got a bit cocky, heh. Ah, well, I'm not perfect! ;) Thanks for your kind remark that gently put me back in the right track. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks dear Witch! I know I can count on you to tell me when I'm being boring instead of entertaining, heh.
Yeah, Susan, rules are... Well, that's material for another post, heh. ;p
By the way, I've tried to put the Award widget down there, before the blog archive, but I couldn't. Is anyone else having the same problem?
ReplyDeleteYou deserve this award, dear! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteHa! Got it!
ReplyDeleteMarisa, you're always so supportive, and I appreciate that very much; thanks dear friend. :D
Mari, thank you for the link and congratulations! You are a sweet soul and deserve all the egoboo you are getting now! I need to find the link to subscribe. (Q: What do you call 1,000 lawyers buried up to the neck in sand? A: A good start. Q: How do you account for 1,000 lawyers buried up to the neck in sand? A: Ran out of sand.) I'm sure you're an excellent attorney, but you really are too kind a soul to ever be good at it. Stick to your writing, dear heart. That's where you not only shine, you GLOW! <3
ReplyDelete"Shine" being a specular reflection of light from an external source upon a surface --
ReplyDelete"Glow" is light generated from within.
You glow, lady!
Wow, see? I even learned something new from THIS post -- about the Google Stats, that you're a lawyer...
ReplyDeleteNice to see you're as thrilled as I was for getting :) And you could've fooled anyone that you've only been blogging a couple of months, you're brilliant at creating this friendly community for people to drop by.
Kristi
Congratulations, Mariana.
ReplyDeleteMay the Blog Gods be with you for a long time!
Hi Bill! LOL LOL LOL for your lawyer jokes! I feel exactly like this, especially now that I don't consider myself amongst them, heh.
ReplyDeleteTo subscribe, you'll find a link right below my profile, before the followers box, called Subscribe to the RSS Feed. Or you can click on that link right there. ;)
Also, if you have a google profile you can follow the updates with it by clicking on the button Follow. :)
Kristi, thanks so much for your kind remark. You do know how to make me feel good, you know? (no wonder the original post was so exaggerated, lol)
It's really good to know that my google babbling was somehow useful to you. Your comment inspired me to write a 'how to' post talking about it, but I've decided to leave this post less educating as it is now, since I wasn't comfortable with the general tone I had imprinted before. So watch out for the future random babblings! heh :)
Thanks Peter! With supportive friends as yourself paying attention to my crazinesses, I'm sure they'll keep an eye on me, heh.
Hi, Mariana -- congrats on getting this blogging award -- Kristi made a great pick! BTW -- I agree with you on passing the torch to WestOfMars.
ReplyDeleteI am a little concerned, though. Seems Peter has thrust the blog Gods upon you -- hmmm. That may be a questionable blessing...
Just kidding! Thanks for the terrific shards of random insight, Mariana!
Donna
Hey, this is great! You definitely deserve it. I enjoyed your reveals!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a good friend and I really like your blog!
Thanks so much Donna! I guess I can handle Peter's Blog Gods. Well, unless they curse me with regular blogging about common stuff for the rest of my life! lol I prefer continuing random and erratic, heh. I'm glad you liked the stuff here; I have some good stuff coming, so I hope you'll stop by again. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne! You're dear friend to me too! You see, I kinda know you like this thing here, as you're one of the Randomities' Best Pals (see that widget up there? ;).
Cheers to blogging (oh-mighty Blog Gods, let it not be boring!) and connecting through twitter! :D
I think I remember you mentioning you'd been a lawyer, but then I wondered if I had dreamed that. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou're doing a great job on your blog so far! Keep going!
Thanks so much Phyl!
ReplyDeleteIf your dreamed about me being a lawyer, it must have been a nightmare, lol! I'm not made to this profession, heh.
A hearty congrats to you, Mari!
ReplyDeleteLove the inside facts about you. Didn't realize you lived in Italy. My grandmother was born in northern Italy. :)
Enjoy your blog as always!
